Happy New Year!
Our team at Alandale wishes
each of you a prosperous 2008. In this vein we
continue to do our best in providing timely
information in our monthly Alandale Advisor.
Alandale employees donate
money each Friday in return for the ability to
wear jeans if they so desire. Through these
donations throughout the year Alandale's
employees were able to make the holidays a
little sweeter for those less fortunate. These
funds were used to purchase several dozen toys
that were donated to the Midnight Mission.
As many of you have noticed
the past 3 years have provided a relatively
"soft" insurance marketplace. (Soft
= available coverage, reduced rates) It is my
belief this will continue for the first part
of the year with a gradual
"hardening" coming toward the third
quarter. What does this mean? Simply put, be
ready for pricing to begin to take an upswing
toward the end of the year. Those double-digit
decreases will most likely disappear soon. We
all know how this cycle goes.
As a reminder, Alandale does
offer all lines of insurance products. Please
do not hesitate to contact our personal lines
department for assistance with your own home,
auto, boat, etc... Pay special attention to
this months "Safety Spotlight", we
have provided you with a link for over 100
safety meeting topics. Simply click to the
link, find the topic you need, print copies
for your employees and have your safety
meeting. Remember to make sure you document
these meetings.
